Yes, Connie, the Humane League really does some incredible work there. I look at their website a lot and there is always something positive going on there in the light of all the negative they see. She is a member of the Chow Club and the Chow Welfare Club. She is a show dog judge. She or her groups need to step up and pay for the healing done for these dogs. I wish the AKC would step in if they were able to and remedy this situation! They recognize both clubs and this person was a member of both. I hope all the Chows find forever homes with loving owners. After their ordeal they really deserve it!
