JOEL MARSTON TRIBUTE…Thank you Love Banghart!

One of the biggest disappointments for me this year, not being able to attend the National was our dear Chow guru Mr. Joel Marston was the guest of honor this year. Love Banghart put together the most beautiful tribut to Joel , digging deep in to her boxes of pix to find all sorts of great shots . I got a peek at the Powerpoint Presentation a few months ago and was so tickled to read about Joels dogs again…Just like it were yesterday
On the drive home from the National, Love called and we were chatting. I asked her if she would like to share all that work on Worldchow as a permanent place for the tribute to reside. Love agreed wholeheartedly and I converted it to video format today. I aplogize for the weird glitch at the end where 2 slides got mixed up. I’ll redo it again this week but wanted to share this with you all asap!!!!

Sandra,
I was in awe of your beautiful trophy work. I almost threw my pet So Su Mi into the ring to try to snag one!
The National was a wonderful experience for me and I enjoyed every minute. I learned and learned about chows. What more could I ask? Well, seeing this lovely synopsis of the highlights I guess. Thank you for your hard work.
Oh gee!
I meant to say something about the tribute. It was touching. and quite well done. As all will see, there was alot of history in the presentation. I thought it was very nice.
Thank you sooooooooooo much Melissa!!!! You made my day! Going to Nationals is always a great learing tool no matter how may years you go. I always come away with a new perspective and renewed energy when I attend. This was a VERY hard year to stay home. Bonnie did a stellar job of presenting my work so well and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity to create the National trophies . We worked so well together which was fantastic.
Have a super weekend. If you took pix, I would love to see some of your faves. I am doing a video of the 2009 casual shots from photos members send to me
Hugs
Sandra

Very happy to have had the opportunity to see it as you whom was there.

I have always admired Starcrest Chows, and at this National it was really nice to put a face with the name. This was only my second National, but again, I have learned so much. Thank you to all of the Chow Fanciers that have taken the time to teach me and offer their opinions. It was great to see so many great dogs, and to make some new friends. Thanks for the handling tips!!
